Akysis vespa

Akysis vespa is known for its small size and striking color pattern resembling a wasp, hence the name. It is a secretive species often hiding among leaf litter or under rocks. This fish is peaceful and suitable for community tanks when kept with other non-aggressive species. It prefers a tank setup with plenty of hiding places and subdued lighting to mimic its natural habitat. Being a bottom-dweller, it requires a tank with a sandy substrate to prevent injury to its barbels.
