Altolamprologus calvus

These cichlids are known for their distinctive flat bodies which allow them to navigate tight crevices to hunt for prey. They are slow-growing and can exhibit a range of color morphs, often used in display tanks for their striking appearance. They require rocky setups to mimic their natural habitat but should not be housed with overly aggressive species as they are relatively peaceful.
