Apistogramma commbrae is known for its vibrant color patterns, particularly in males. They are relatively peaceful but can become territorial during breeding. A well-planted tank with plenty of hiding spaces is recommended to simulate their natural environment. They coexist well in community tanks but are best kept with other non-aggressive species.
