Apistogramma regani
Regani Dwarf Cichlid, Apisto Regani, Regani Apisto
Apistogramma regani exhibits sexual dimorphism. Males are typically more colorful with extended finnage compared to the more subtly colored females. They are relatively peaceful but can display aggression during breeding, especially when defending fry. A well-planted tank with hiding spots is ideal for simulating their natural environment. They thrive in community tanks with similarly sized, peaceful fish.
