Ariopsis seemanni

Ariopsis seemanni, commonly known as the Colombian Shark Catfish, is renowned for its distinctive shark-like appearance and peaceful demeanor. Though often found in freshwater, they eventually require the introduction of saltwater as they mature to mimic their natural migratory habits into brackish and marine environments. They are active swimmers and best kept in large tanks due to their potential size and need for space.
