Atractosteus tropicus

Atractosteus tropicus, known as the Tropical Gar, is a large piscivorous fish found in Central American freshwater systems. They are known for their elongated bodies and sharp teeth reminiscent of ancient fishes, and are sometimes kept in large aquaria due to their predatory nature.
