Barbodes puntius

Barbodes puntius, also known as the Spanner Barb, is notable for its unique T-shaped marking on the side of its body, contributing to its name. They are peaceful but may show semi-aggressive behavior, especially in smaller groups. Keeping them in schools of six or more can help reduce aggression. They are active swimmers and prefer a tank that offers ample swimming space combined with hiding spots like plants and rocks.
