Barbus hulstaerti

Barbus hulstaerti are peaceful and strikingly beautiful freshwater fish renowned for their shimmering hues and distinct coloration. Due to their smaller size, they make an excellent choice for nano aquariums but should coexist with similarly peaceful tank mates. These fish demonstrate a preference for densely planted tanks that mimic their natural environment with dim lighting and plenty of hiding spots among plants or driftwood. Regular partial water changes are essential to maintain water quality.
