Bathyaethiops breuseghemi, or the African Red-eye Tetra, is a peaceful schooling fish that thrives in planted aquariums. Its vibrant red eyes make it a striking addition to community tanks. They prefer a well-filtered aquarium with subdued lighting to mimic their natural habitat. Compatible with other non-aggressive species, they prefer to be in groups of at least six to exhibit natural schooling behavior.
