Botia almorhae is a social and active species, often seen playing and foraging in groups. They are known for their distinctive black and grey patterns, which can vary among individuals. Although peaceful, they may sometimes be aggressive towards smaller or slower-moving fish. Ideal tank mates include other Botia species and robust community fish. It's important to provide plenty of hiding places and substrates they can dig into.
