Brachygobius kabiliensis
Kabili Banded Goby, Bumblebee Goby
Brachygobius kabiliensis, known as the Kabili Banded Goby or Bumblebee Goby, is an endearing and smaller-sized goby species, beloved among aquarium hobbyists for its striking black and yellow banded appearance. While setting up their aquarium, ensure ample hiding spots and consider a soft substrate, as they like to burrow. They may be territorial among themselves but usually peacefully co-exist with other non-aggressive tank mates. Regular feeding with live or frozen foods, like brine shrimp and daphnia, is recommended to mimic their natural diet. Avoid sudden changes in water parameters to prevent stress. They may be able to tolerate lower-end brackish conditions, although many are bred and kept in freshwater settings.
