Carnegiella schereri
Silver Hatchetfish, Scherer's Hatchetfish
Carnegiella schereri are peaceful, small surface-dwellers known for their unique body shape and jumping abilities. They are schooling fish, so keep in small groups to reduce stress. Their tank should have floating plants and a secure lid to prevent jumping out. A biotope setup may enhance their well-being, mimicking their natural environment with subdued lighting and gentle filtration. They're also quite sensitive to water quality changes.
