Cochliodon basilisko

The Basilisk Pleco is a peaceful and nocturnal bottom-dweller known for its ability to clean algae. Suitable tank companions include other peaceful species and those inhabiting the upper water column. It's important to provide them with ample hiding spaces such as driftwood, caves, and plants to recreate their natural habitat. Diet consists primarily of algae, but supplementary feeding with sinking pellets, fresh vegetables, and occasional protein treats will benefit their health.
