Corydoras crypticus is a peaceful and social species that thrives in groups. They are excellent bottom-dwellers and scavengers, helping to keep the substrate clean. Due to their sensitive barbels, it's best to use smooth substrate materials such as sand or fine gravel. They coexist well with other peaceful community fish.
