Corydoras pinheiroi
Corydoras pinheiroi is a peaceful bottom-dwelling catfish. It's highly social and should be kept in groups of at least five, which will encourage natural behaviors and activity. Ideal for community aquariums, they are known for their lively and playful nature. They're natural scavengers, but their diet should be supplemented with sinking pellets and occasional live or frozen foods. A well-furnished aquarium with smooth substrates and plenty of hiding spots like caves and plant cover will keep these fish happy. Regular water changes and a good filtration system are recommended to maintain water quality. Due to their armored bodies, they are generally hardy but should be shielded from sharp objects that could damage their sensitive barbels.
