Corydoras punctatus are peaceful bottom dwellers that do best in groups of at least 4-6 individuals. These social fish enjoy plenty of hideouts and gentle filtration; soft, sandy substrates are recommended to protect their delicate barbels. Keeping leaves, driftwood, along with live or artificial plants, provides an ideal habitat.
