Danionella translucida
Mini Fish, Crystal Danio, Micro Glass Fish
Danionella translucida is noted for its semi-transparent body, through which its skeletal structure and some internal organs can be observed. This diminutive, schooling species is often favored in nano-aquariums. It is essential to maintain a stable environment due to its sensitivity to changes in water conditions. They exhibit peaceful behavior but should ideally be kept in groups to mimic their natural social behavior. Albeit small, they require a well-planted aquarium with adequate hiding spots to reduce stress. Due to their tiny size, special care should be taken with their feeding, utilizing micro or powdered foods that they can easily consume.
Distribution
