Dermogenys pusilla
Wrestling Halfbeak, Silver Halfbeak
The Dermogenys pusilla, or Wrestling Halfbeak, is known for its surface-dwelling habits. It has a prominent elongated lower jaw and a shimmering silver body. In an aquarium, they require a well-sealed lid due to their jumping tendency. Best kept in groups due to their sociable nature, which can display interesting inter-male interactions reminiscent of 'wrestling'. Despite the name, they are generally peaceful fish.
