Devario xyrops
Blue-spotted Devario, Zaikhao Devario
Devario xyrops are schooling fish, best kept in groups of five or more to promote natural behavior and reduce stress. They are generally peaceful but may exhibit fin-nipping behavior if housed in too small a school or with incompatible tank mates. It’s recommended to use dark substrate and provide plenty of swimming space along with areas to shelter using plants or driftwood.
Distribution
Native to Northern Myanmar, specifically the upper Irrawaddy River basin.References
