Farlowella acus

Farlowella acus, often referred to as Twig Catfish, are peaceful and exceptional algae eaters. They have a unique physical appearance with a slender, elongated body that mimics the look of a stick or twig, helping them blend into their natural environment. They require a well-planted tank with plenty of foliage, driftwood, and subdued lighting to feel secure. Due to their specialized diet of algae, care must be taken to ensure they have enough food or supplemental feeding may be necessary.
