Gastromyzon extrorsus

The Borneo Sucker is a peaceful bottom-dweller known for its flat, sucker-shaped mouth, adapted for clinging to surfaces in swift currents. They are best kept in a group of at least six individuals to mimic their social nature and can cohabit with other community fish that thrive in similar conditions. Their diet primarily consists of biofilm, green algae, and small aquatic invertebrates. Providing a strong water current in the tank and replicating their natural habitat with rocks and hiding spots is essential for their well-being.
