Homalopteroides modestus

Homalopteroides modestus are generally peaceful and can coexist with similarly sized non-aggressive fish. They are bottom dwellers and prefer sandy substrates with plenty of rocks and hiding places. They're active swimmers and require space to roam. These fish engage in algae and biofilm grazing and thrive in environments that replicate flow-rich habitats.
