Hypergastromyzon humilis

Hypergastromyzon humilis are peaceful fish best kept in a group to simulate their natural shoaling behavior. Great for algae control due to their rasping mouthparts but should not be relied upon as the sole algae solution in a tank. They are shy and do well in a planted tank with plenty of hiding places. Caution should be taken if housed with larger, more aggressive species.
