Hyphessobrycon roseus is a peaceful, schooling fish that does best in groups of six or more. Known for their striking red coloration, they are popular among aquarists. Suitable tank companions include other peaceful tetras, dwarf cichlids, and Corydoras catfish. A planted tank with subdued lighting mimicking their natural habitat is ideal.
