Ivanacara adoketa
Zebra acara, Zebra dwarf cichlid
Ivanacara adoketa exhibits a striking black and white banded appearance, making them a popular choice among aquarium enthusiasts. Despite their captivating look, they are sensitive to water quality fluctuations and require tanks that simulate their natural peat-stained waters. Terracotta caves, driftwood, and planted areas are preferred decorations for breeding setups. Although they can be semi-aggressive during breeding, they are generally peaceful and can be housed with other similarly sized, non-aggressive fish.
