Kryptopterus geminus

The Kryptopterus geminus is highly popular among aquarists due to its unique transparent appearance. Their transparency allows you to see their internal organs. They are peaceful, schooling fish that should be kept in groups of at least five to maintain their well-being. The aquarium should be well-planted with both open swimming areas and places of refuge as they can be shy at times. A gentle water flow mimicking their natural habitat is preferential.
