Lasiancistrus scolymus

Lasiancistrus scolymus is a beautiful, armor-plated sucker-mouth catfish known for its small thorns that resemble odontoids. A more peaceful member of the Loricariidae family, it is ideal for community aquariums with suitable conditions. They are generally nocturnal but may be active during the day if conditions are dim or they become accustomed. A good algae eaters but should be supplemented with a balanced diet.
