The Megalamphodus sweglesi, or Bleeding Heart Tetra, is a peaceful, schooling fish known for its distinct 'bleeding heart' spot. They prefer planted tanks with subdued lighting and plenty of swimming space. Ideal tank mates include other peaceful tetras, rasboras, and dwarf cichlids.
