These fish thrive in biotope-themed aquariums with dense vegetation and subdued lighting, replicating their natural environment. Their diet largely comprises live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp, daphnia, and bloodworms, although they can occasionally adapt to high-quality flakes or pellets.
