Mesonauta guyanae

Mesonauta guyanae, known for its distinct elongate body and peaceful nature, is a favored choice among cichlid enthusiasts. It is best maintained in a biotope setup with plenty of plants, driftwood, and hiding spaces to mimic its natural habitat. While generally peaceful, they can exhibit territorial behaviors, especially during breeding. They are often kept in community tanks with similar-sized, non-aggressive fish.
