Mystus bimaculatus is a relatively peaceful species suitable for community aquariums. It is nocturnal by nature, often dwelling at the bottom layers of the aquarium, and thrives with hiding spaces and gentle water flow. A larger aquarium is better for these fish, and well structured hiding spots will bring out the best in them.
