Nannostomus marginatus is a peaceful, small schooling fish ideal for nano tanks. They thrive in aquariums with abundant plant cover, driftwood, and subdued lighting to simulate their natural habitats. Often found swimming in the mid to upper water columns, they appreciate groups of six or more to promote natural behavior. A diet composed of high-quality flakes, tiny pellets, and micro-live or frozen foods such as daphnia, cyclops, and baby brine shrimp keeps them healthy and vibrant. Regular water changes and a stable environment help maintain their well-being.
