Nannostomus marilynae is a peaceful and small characin, suitable for a planted community tank. Due to their timid nature, they benefit from a well-decorated aquarium with plenty of hiding spaces. They are social by nature and best kept in groups of 8 or more to exhibit natural schooling behavior. Dietary focus should be on small live foods, flakes, or micro pellets.
