Otocinclus vestitus

Otocinclus vestitus are peaceful and social fish, often recommended for community tanks. They require plenty of shaded areas and hiding spots among plants and substrate to feel secure. These fish are primarily algae eaters and should not be solely relied upon to clean tanks. Supplement their diet with algae wafers, blanched vegetables, or spirulina tablets. It is recommended to keep them in groups of at least five, as they are social fish.
