Pangio doriae
Doria Kuhli Loach, Coolie Loach, Sumatran Loach
Pangio doriae, commonly revered for its shy nature and unique eel-like appearance, is a peaceful and social bottom-dweller. Preferring to stay in groups, it's important to keep them in schools of five or more. Their tendencies to burrow under the substrate mean that a soft sandy or fine gravel substrate is preferred to prevent any possible injuries. Pangio doriae is known not for swimming actively in the open, rather they enjoy hiding among dense plants, rocks, and driftwood.
