The Pangio sp. pan03, commonly referred to as the Panda Loach, is an enigmatic species. While not extensively studied, they are admired in aquarist circles for their striking patterns and peaceful temperament. These loaches are ideal for community tanks, especially with tank mates that share similar water parameters. They are nocturnally inclined with an affinity for hidden areas, so it is essential to provide plenty of hiding spots in the tank through rocks, driftwood, or dense vegetation. A sand or fine gravel substrate mimics their natural environment and reduces stress.
