Paracanthocobitis zonalternans
Zonetail Loach, Dolphin Loach
Paracanthocobitis zonalternans is an active species, often seen darting around the tank. They exhibit vibrant banded patterns and are best kept in groups to mimic their social nature in the wild. Given their nature, a spacious tank with plenty of hiding spots and currents, mimicking river environments, is recommended. Their diet should be varied, including sinking pellets and live foods. Regular water changes are important to maintain water quality.
