Parosphromenus bintan is a small, colorful fish determined by its distinctive iridescent markings and elongated unpaired fins. They thrive in tannin-rich waters with aquatic vegetation. A peaceful species, they perform best in species-centric setups. House only in fully established tanks, preferably biotope tanks mimicking their natural ecosystem, filled with leaf litter and driftwood. Lighting should be subdued to resemble the dimly lit forest waters.
