Plataplochilus cabindae, commonly known as the Cabinda Lampeye, is a peaceful, small fish suited for community aquaria. Known for their glimmering eyes, these fish are predominantly surface dwellers and exhibit characteristic spawning behaviors. Due to their friendly nature, they do well in species tanks or in mixed communities with non-aggressive fish. Ample vegetation and spaces for hiding will mimic their natural habitat, allowing them to demonstrate their full range of behaviors.
