Platystacus cotylephorus

Platystacus cotylephorus is a docile, nocturnal fish that prefers a dimly lit environment and is often buried in substrate during the day. Preferred tank settings should mimic slow-moving rivers with ample hiding spots using driftwood or rocks. They are bottom dwellers and feed on small invertebrates and detritus in the wild. Regular dietary inclusions can consist of sinking pellets, frozen, or live foods.
