Pseudomugil signifer
Pacific Blue-eye, Signifer Rainbowfish
Pseudomugil signifer, or the Pacific Blue-eye, is a small, lively fish noted for its striking appearance and active behavior. Suitable for community tanks, they do best in groups of six or more. They thrive in well-planted aquariums with plenty of swimming space and tolerate a wide range of water conditions, making them suitable for a variety of freshwater setups. Their peaceful nature allows them to be housed with similar-sized non-aggressive species. Breeding can occur in aquariums, often requiring specific conditions to ensure the survival of the fry.
