- Pseudotropheus demasoni is known for its striking blue and black vertical stripes, adding a vibrant appearance to any aquarium setup. - They are extremely territorial and can be aggressive, requiring careful selection of tank mates. - They thrive in rocky environments with numerous hiding spaces in the aquarium. - Breeding in captivity is common and they will provide parental care to the offspring. Females typically hold the eggs in their mouths (mouthbrooding), releasing fry after approximately 20-24 days.
