Often showcasing striking blue and yellow hues, their presence brightens any aquarium. Caution is advised when housing males together due to heightened aggression levels. ● Diet: - Omnivorous. Should be fed a varied diet comprising pellets, veggies, and occasional live or frozen foods. ● Social Behavior: - Best kept with other similarly aggressive cichlids or in a species-specific tank. ● Additional Notes: - They may be prone to digging, which can disturb substrate decorations. - Adequate hiding spaces and rock formations are key to reducing hostility among tank mates.
