Raiamas ansorgii

Raiamas ansorgii, commonly known as Ansorge's Barb, is an active swimmer requiring ample space. They are best housed in groups due to their schooling nature, which also helps mitigate aggression. Their diet in the wild consists mainly of insects, crustaceans, and smaller fish, so a varied diet in captivity is recommended, including quality pellets, flakes, and live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp or bloodworms. Regular water changes are essential for maintaining water quality, given their sensitivity to poor conditions.
