Rhadinocentrus ornatus is a small, peaceful species known for its vibrant colors and is relatively easy to care for. They thrive in planted tanks with plenty of swimming space and subdued lighting which enhances their natural colors. They are not picky eaters and will accept most small-sized food, including flakes, frozen, and live foods. These fish showcase schooling behavior, so it's best to keep them in groups of five or more. They are also known to be good community fish, cohabiting well with similarly peaceful species.
