Satanoperca leucosticta

Satanoperca leucosticta is a peaceful species known for its distinctive white spots and calm demeanor. Often seen sifting through the substrate in search of food, these eartheaters require tanks with sandy bottoms to exhibit natural behaviors. Despite their peaceful nature, they require ample space, especially when housed with conspecifics or similarly sized tropical fish. Providing hiding spots with driftwood and plants is also recommended to mimic their natural habitat.
