Steatocranus tinanti

Steatocranus tinanti, known as the Slender Lionhead Cichlid, is infamous for its unique head shape and vibrant behavior. They exhibit interesting breeding behavior, are generally peaceful, and thrive in groups. Their quirky running motion along the substrate is due to their specialized, reduced swim bladder, allowing them to dwell in fast-flowing river environments. Ideal for community tanks but care should be taken with tank mates as they can sometimes be territorial.
