Apistogramma gibbiceps

Apistogramma gibbiceps is an engaging fish suited to experienced aquarists. They require well-structured environments with plenty of hiding spots. They show territorial behaviors, especially during breeding periods. Ideal conditions include subdued lighting, abundant leaf litter, and well-established planted areas to mimic their natural ecosystem. Neutral to peaceful tank mates are preferred.
