Devario neilgherriensis

Devario neilgherriensis is a peaceful schooling fish, best kept in groups of 6 or more to prevent stress and encourage natural behavior. They require a spacious tank with a tight-fitting lid, as they are known to be agile jumpers. Provide ample swimming space accompanied by moderate current settings to mimic their natural habitat. An aquarium planted along the sides and back with broad open areas for swimming is ideal.
