Labidochromis hongi

Known for its striking colors, especially the males, which display a vibrant blue with orange to red markings on the dorsal fin. These fish are relatively peaceful for African Cichlids, but care should be taken with tank mates, especially during breeding where territorial behaviors can emerge. Like other Mbuna cichlids, they are best kept with other fast-moving, similarly-sized fish. They enjoy a diet consisting of both meaty foods and algae.
